I imagine that very very few devArtists would want to keep track of me (after having taken such a long hiatus), but to those faithful fans, thanks.


So, I'll try to give a quick life update within the next few lines:

Just graduated with my bachelor of science in Biology - will be doing a Masters of Science in Nutrition this coming year. Will be getting my research published in two scientific papers - YEAH! Applying to medical school this summer. Got a new 2009 Subaru Impreza (yes, that is a car) this past weekend. Should be fun

As to why I haven't been submitting art/checking my devArt account recently, I've been busy with school work. I had to write four final papers in the final week of school. Between my gf, my schoolwork, partying, research, and friends, I haven't really found a good chunk of time to draw, until now. I have about a weeks worth of time to kill before I have to return to my lab for more research work.

I just uploaded a new piece of WIP Superior fanart that I drew today. I hope that you guys enjoy it.

So here's the scoop,

It's the beginning of the school semester, and I'm still ridiculously busy. If I'm not in class, I'm in lab, at meetings, or with my gf. Likewise, I am also working on my med school apps, which is going to take quite a bit of time.

In either case, I'm not going to be drawing for a while.

Just thought that you guys would want to know, in case that you were wondering why I've been inactive for the past couple of weeks.

Ok, a few things for the update.

First off, I've been informed that the skin color on my CGs is a little weird (I just noticed it myself when looking at them on my friend's comp). The reason for this is that the monitor on my laptop is messed up and so colors like yellow look different. In fact, my computer screen cannot show pure white!

Since my laptop has all of my CG programs and tablet drivers, I'm stuck with using a crappy monitor for all of my precise coloring and shading. Ironic, isn't it?

Also, I noticed that I just surpassed 2k pageviews. This means that a 2k kiriban is coming. Don't worry, I already had a CG in works a week ago, so I'll be finishing that as a kiriban.

Ok, so here's the deal.

From 8am to 9am, I'm eating breakfast/getting ready.

From 9:30am-6pm, I'm in the library studying.

From 6-7:30pm, I work out + bike.

From 7:30-8:30pm, I eat dinner/washing dishes.

From 8:30-9pm, I read the newspaper (hey, I gotta stay in touch with the rest of the world)

From 9pm - 10pm, I do whatever the heck I want.

From 10:30-11:30 pm, I'm talking to my significant other.

I go to bed by midnight.


So as you can see, my day is pretty much filled up. I'm trying to draw on my evening free time (and sneak a couple of minutes in the library) but it's difficult to do any real CGs, since I'm not at my computer most of the time.

Hope that you guys enjoyed my last update: "Nighttime View". It took me a while to make it , but I think that it helped to keep my skills sharp.
